Exton Center & Main Office

Location: Located on a quiet, two-acre lot in the heart of Chester County, our Exton Center has the peaceful ambiance of a country getaway. But with Route 100 and Route 113 just around the corner, the Center is also easy to find and easy to access.

Building: The building, designed and built in 1997, is organized with four program rooms branching off of a central gathering room used for dining and large group events.

Amenities: In addition to our cozy program rooms and sunny gathering room, the following amenities are also available.

Individual Programs for Individual Needs: Our Exton Center offers four distinct programs in our four program rooms. Based on the needs and abilities of each participant, he or she spends each day with peers who face similar challenges.

• Early to mid-stage dementia - Our Social program focuses on keeping participants mentally and physically active by incorporating lively conversation, games, and reminiscence activities.
• Mid- to late-stage dementia - The Club is a place of variety. With a packed schedule each day, Club participants enjoy team games, listening to stories, and remembering trivia.
• Mental challenges - The participants in Friendship enjoy visual activities, group games, and conversation about the good old days.
• Physical challenges - Prime Time participants enjoy creative arts, discussion of current events, and games that allow for personal success
• Young Onset Dementia - Our newest program provides activities and programs for younger individuals (symptoms beginning before age 65) affected by dementia.

Southern Chester County Center

Location: Near the southeastern corner of Chester County, our Southern Chester County Center is situated in New Garden Plaza in proximity to Baltimore Pike and Route 82.

Older Adult Facility: The small center feels like home with a communal kitchen, an inviting circle of chairs in the living room, and a cozy dining area. A spacious side room provides an area for nursing care and physical therapy.

Under-60 Center: Our Under-60 Center serves individuals with physical challenges such as Multiple Sclerosis, paralysis after a stroke, or Parkinson's disease, as well as people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The activities in this Center are geared toward younger adults with music and games that cater to their interests, needs, and experiences.

Programs: At our Southern Center, all the participants spend most of the day integrated together in one program, enjoying the friendships that develop in such a small setting. This center is bilingual and our Spanish-speaking staff are able to involve Spanish-speaking participants in special activities. With our excellent and creative staff, activities of each week are organized around a theme. Participants get deeply involved in activities through armchair travel (discussion and learning about other parts of the world), imaginative games, communal story-telling, and visits from knowledgeable people about various topics. Holiday and birthday parties are celebrated regularly, and the center is always decorated for the season. Our Southern Center is a place like home, an environment of friendly relationships and warm welcomes.
