How Can I Get Involved?

We love volunteers. And we need them on an ongoing basis for a wide variety of tasks. Check out the list below and see where you can fit in.

Got a talent?
We love entertainers! Perform for us, lead an afternoon singalong, or teach us something.

Got a pet?
Pet therapy is a soothing. We invite new pets to visit us anytime. Pets must have all updated vaccines, be obedient, friendly, and gentle.

Got a passion?
We love the arts. We are always looking for people to help with artwork and craft projects.

Got a green thumb? Gardening projects sometimes involve participants. More intense outdoor projects can be service projects for volunteer groups.

Got a tool box?
Maintenance volunteers are always needed for painting, cleaning, and fixing up around the center.

To volunteer, please call Pat DeHart Tuesday through Friday 6:30 - 4:30 at 610-363-8044. She will arrange an appointment to meet with you. When you come for your interview, you will be given a tour, informed of the confidentiality code, and given an application. A history and physical form must be filled out by a medical doctor, and a TB test is required. When you return your physical form, a start date will be set for your volunteering.
